I.love.Lacey. That's all there is to say. She has been not only one of my top female voices since I first heard "I'm So Sick", but she is also one of my favorite writers. From lyrics, to journal entries she shares, to the books she's released. This woman knows God's love and sprinkles Him on EVERYTHING. Now with that being said, I honestly wasn't sure how I was going to respond to this specific book. I wasn't sure how her reflections would play along with the journal entries, poetry, prayers and everything else she shares, but to my surprise it all worked and worked very well. I've already recommended this book to many friends and family members as a must read. Lacey provided me with amazing example of knowing God's love, shining God's love, and living God's love in the midst of any trial. Which ultimately, is why we are here. Two huge man hands thumbs up for this one.

This book took my breath away with every page. Lacey put so many unexplainable emotions into words so flawlessly. I read each page with a ravenous hunger. Sometimes life can get in the way, but this book helped to get me back to the basics with Jesus. Lacey has a true gift. You’ll be in the loving arms of God with every word. It’s all about love and how we accept and give it.

Great book. Lacey is an amazing writer and deep thinker, she is truly an amazing woman. The only thing I find a little strange about some of her books is how she refers to god as “daddy” and sometimes seems to obsess over what god thinks of her life that it becomes unhealthy to the point where I think maybe she isn’t truly enjoying special moments. Like the page where it is the day of her wedding and instead of focusing on herself she is worried about “missing god” and responding to whispers in her head from him. I just feel like maybe if you aren’t 100% a believer of all Christianity teaches her writing can come off a little bit too much like someone basing their life off scripture when in reality no one really knows if it really came from god or not.

I received this book super quick close to release date. It is such a fabulous an interesting book, she always has such a open mind an just wants to share things with people but never is preachy about it an never makes it seem like if u view n believe otherwise that you are less than. She even offers help if you are open to god n everything..like if this is something you want here is a prayer you can use if you are a bit confused n lost about how to open your heart n soul to him. All of her books are 30/10 an put things into words that are sometimes not easy to do. She speaks the message if i can survive, thrive an overcome.. So can you!

I have been in a spiritual drought lately, and I found myself in a rut I couldn't get out of. This book really helped open my eyes, and see life differently than before. Lacey Sturm is not only a well accomplished singer and artist, she's also an amazing author! This book challenged me to rethink how I thought being a Christian was all about. Don't judge a book by its cover, and try this book out!

Despite all the rave reviews of this book I found it to be quite disappointing and not at all what I expected or wanted. It covered alot on the people coming to the inaugural weekend and event but not enough on the president and his family. Lots of photos of flag wavers and crowds just not enough focus on the Obamas per se - the inauguration and all their events. The book is uninspiring and simply boring. Other than that the photos are nice and the book in general (minus the content) is layed out well. In addition my book arrived damaged and crushed with a marred up cover. Total bum deal all around.

I was anticipating excellent photographs, and they well may be excellent photos; but the reproduction is inferior. This book is a great overview of the inauguration. There were so many images from tv that there was no way to capture but this book did it all. I was especially pleased to see a good picture of Mrs. Obama's inauguration gown without waiting for the Smithsonian exhibition. Newspapers photos will fade. This book will give you memories to share with grandchildren for quite some time.

This Book deals with the area of power system harmonics studies. Unlike most other harmonic studies books the book have a detailed harmonic studies for actual multi-bus power system. This includes filter design and selection, harmonic injection, effect of system equipment rating change on the harmonics, and many other topics. The book also covered power system components modeling for harmonic studies. The main book shortcoming is that it's doesn't cover frequency dependent models, and most of the models used in the studies are pure impedance based models. But in general it's a very good book for introduction to power system harmonics.

From my point of view of practising engineer Dr. Wakilleh covers the subject of harmonics in very straightforward manner mainly the subject of harmonic filter design. It help me a lot.

This background explains the title of the book.Though I enjoyed John Paton's autobiography, I appreciated Robertson's "matter-of-factness" and humor that help to make the characters more human and relatable. For example, he describes a practical joke he and his wife play on John Paton and his matchmaking efforts among the natives.I appreciate the early missionaries of the New Hebrides for the way in which they break the stereotypes that people often associate with missionaries of Victorian times. H. A. Robertson stated that he and his wife gladly let the Erromangans continue in the cultural traditions that were NOT contrary to Scripture, and they considered many Erromangans their closest friends.One of the best aspects of this book are the extensive cultural and historical notes that the editor added. I wish I had these notes when reading John G. Paton: Missionary to the New Hebrides and Lomai of Lenakel: A Hero of the New Hebrides. A Fresh Chapter in the Triumph of the Gospel.. Nice book; includes brief notes about each song. Note that my order said nothing about how to download the songs, but on the first page of the book the website and a unique code is provided. You then have the choice to download songs individually or as a zip file containing the full set. Songs are in mp3 format. Simple to upload into iTunes.

The Teen's Musical Theatre Collection: Young Women's Edition was recommended by our granddaughter's voice instructor and she could not have picked a better starting book for a 12 year old girl. There is a CD that accompanies the book so practice is easier and if the occasion arises to perform, the CD can be used to accompany the singer. The pitch range of the book is varied enough to supply altos and sopranos with a nice choice of songs. The only problem I had with the book was some of the selections are from musicals that are really old and have not been redone recently enough for a teen to be familiar with the songs, but it does supply a good musical history because of that. Many of the songs are from musicals that teens have grown up with so the interest of the teen in those songs is high. Great buy that will provide years of entertainment and instruction!

These book contains a wonderful variety of broadway pieces. The arrangements are fun and beautiful and much more appropriate for younger voices. The keys are much more suitable for developing voices!

My 13-year-old is taking group voice lessons. Last year, we just had to go with the book the teacher chose. She just didn't connect with any of the songs in it. This year, we shopped for our own and bought on Amazon because the price was so much more reasonable than from the publisher's website. This book had many songs that she really enjoys! We love the accompanyment CD and often keep it in the car so she can gain additional practice, especially while we're traveling to/from her lessons. For recital, she sang both "God Help the Outcasts," which brought serious tears to her daddy's eyes and "Think of Me." The arrangements are slightly different from the movie versions, but still very nice. If you're not sure which book to get, I recommend checking at the Hal Leonard website for additonal details but then come back here to order for the great price and service! Just make sure that you compare the identical book and read carefully for such items as the accompanyment CD, as they have many similarly-named choices.My daughter now wants me to get the book of solos from the musical "Wicked!" This is such a great compilation of songs and the quality of accompaniment on the CD is great as well. My only complaint, and perhaps it's because we are oversensitive about these things these days, there are several songs that make reference to a girl being submissive or not attractive. I think those were poor choices fro a TEEN music collection.

If you are in love with musical theater, then this book is for you! It has all the greats...Phantom of the Opera, the Sound of Music, Beauty and the Beast, among many others. They are not too difficult if you have some experience reading music. It also comes with a disc that makes practicing easy if you do not have access to a piano. Definitely a good buy to add to my collection!

This is definitely the best musical theatre repertoire book for young girls age 8-18. I've looked at several different books and this is by far the one with the most recognizable songs, while also meeting my standards of quality music and accessible range. There are about 12 songs in this book that I've been happy to teach my students and have them perform at recitals.

Very nice book to familiarize yourself with musical theatre pieces. Haven't used it too extensively yet, but already it seems easy to follow. Recommended.

I believe I have read nearly every thing hope Callahan has written! It's amazing to me how within one book you can become so attached to the characters in a series that when that series ends , you start missing these characters as though they are your friends. This book is no different. The family is starting to come back together the pawn shop is up and running and questions asked so long ago are finally being answered. I just purchased book number 5. Got to go reading awaits!

What an interesting and exciting story of the historical Savannah. Carlita has her family with her to help setup a pawn shop and solve the mystery of the underground tunnels they discovered in the basement that seem to lead to other businesses in their neighborhood. They learn there are stories of possible pirate booty and other adventures.

Hope Callaghan has done it again. This series continues to be a page turner. The series is about a New York mafia family that desires to leave their past behind and become good people. Each book explores the efforts of the family to become normal among the citizens of Savannah Ga. while having to deal with unexpected dead bodies and other mysteries to help solve. Great readihg!

I just read the first 4 books of Hope Callaghan's Savanah series this week. I loved this series so much I couldn't put it down until I finished it! The main characters were excellent and I felt like I knew them personally. The additional characters made me want to get to know them better. If you're interested in books that will keep you on the edge of your seat while you try to figure out what the end result is, I highly recommend this series! I can't wait until the 5th book in the series is available!

I'm sure enjoying the Families adventures, and the characters are so real I know them! I look forward to getting away from the everyday of my busy life and going to Savanna and into the next adventures of the Family. Into the darkness of underground tunnels or for walks along the rivers. The Who done it's, and The Who's next keeps me turning the pages. I'm on to the next book. You'll do the same. Enjoy!

I highly recommend this series. Good characters, entertaining plot, and at least one side character that I love to hate. Plus it is a quick and upbeat read, just like the other Callaghan books I've read so far. There's no gore, no foul language to speak of, and no steamy scenes, so if those things bug you, you're safe with this one and the others of the same series.

I absolutely adored this book!! I immediately fell in love with Henry (the irresistible, backward-walking donkey) and was amazed by the way that the author honestly shared her heartbreaks/ life struggles in a way that points us to God and His goodness! I loved the prayers that she shared, and definitely want to incorporate them into my daily conversations with the Lord. In this lovely book, Rachel Anne Ridge candidly tells her story of the tragedy, struggles and questions she's dealt with.Rachel and Tom thought Flash needed a companion donkey, so they (sort of) jumped on the opportunity to adopt a rescued miniature donkey. Rachel watched and learned from Flash, "Henry" (the new kid), and their slow-growing friendship. Somehow, as she slowed down and gave her own heart some breathing space, these poky-but-gentle creatures helped her see her doubts and questions in a new light. Meanwhile, she discovered guidance in other unexpected places, until her bruised faith kindled again into a warm flame.This is one of the most encouraging books I've read in a long time.
